The client
An incubator that takes founders from idea to scale.
Aakam Shine is a startup incubation and ecosystem platform. It takes founders from idea to scale through a Validate, Build, Launch, Grow, Scale path, with incubation and accelerator programmes, mentorship, access to investors and funding, pilots with industry partners, shared infrastructure and a community events calendar. It serves first-time founders, student entrepreneurs and teams in Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions, with focus areas in healthcare, cybersecurity, deep tech, toys and games and agri innovation.
The solution
A three-part platform.
We built the platform end to end: a public website where founders, mentors and investors explore programmes, apply, register for events and manage their profiles; an admin panel where the Shine team runs the whole ecosystem; and a microservices backend with an API gateway and a service for each area of the business.
What's included.
Incubation & programmes
Application and intake flows for incubation and pre-incubation, plus accelerator and hackathon programmes, managed from the admin panel.
Events & engagement
Event creation and registration, QR codes, feedback collection and past-event pages.
Ecosystem management
Directories of mentors, investors, startups and partners, with profile pages, mentor approval and publish controls.
Infrastructure & meetings
Booking of facilities and assets, an appointment calendar, and meetings with action items.
Services marketplace
A commerce module for services offered through the platform.
Content management
A CMS that drives the public website.
